It’s your daily awwwww. A Canadian woman named Samantha Swire – who says she used to dance with a young Ryan Gosling pre-Mickey Mouse Club – posted a series of videos of the young heartthrob singing and dancing as a young boy back in 1992.

The clips show the actor on stage belting out Elvis’ “Hound Dog,” rocking MC Hammer pants and basically seducing all the ladies with his epic moves. They were first posted online by a , and a CBC producer brought them to Gosling’s (and the Internet’s) attention via Twitter.

“Everybody loved him,” Swire told People about her old acquaintance. “You could tell that he was going somewhere.”
