The event kicks off with a voguing class, co-taught by Pose cast member Jason A. Rodriguez (Lemar Wintour) and Ballroom Icon Pony Zion…followed by lecture/performance/discussion Ballroom: Trans Sounds of Black Freedom– exploring the history of the House/Ballroom community as a Black Trans-Womanist theological discourse, a freedom movement, and its spiritual formation responses to race, class, sexuality, and gender oppression-… and ending with a single Ballroom category Vogue Femme “open to all” (OTA) competition with the lovely international commentator Precious…OH…and there’s a $1000 CASH PRIZE!!!
