Our Groper-in-Chief just declared April National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month – and did it with a straight face.
“At the heart of our country is the emphatic belief that every person has unique and infinite value,” Trump said in a presidential proclamation. “We dedicate each April to raising awareness about sexual abuse and recommitting ourselves to fighting it. Women, children, and men have inherent dignity that should never be violated.”
Gag.
Meanwhile, the dozen or so women who have formally accused him of sexual assault are now banging their heads a wall.
You might also recall Trump bragged about sexually assaulting women – “grabbing them by the pussy” was the phrase he used, I believe – telling Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush he could do it because he was famous and could “do anything.”
He also said in that infamous tape that he kissed women without their permission — the very definition of assault.
“I’m automatically attracted to beautiful [women],” Trump was heard telling Billy Bush on the tape. “I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.” Trump wrote the comments off as “locker room talk.”
So, yeah.
Your president thinks you have inherent dignity and should never be violated. Unless it’s by a famous person. Happy April. (via mic.com)
