The golden statue of Trump at CPAC has caused a stir at its annual gathering.
A video of the golden headed statue with signature red tie, American flag shorts (and flip-flops?) being wheeled around went viral.
Tommy Zegan, the artist behind the huge statue of Trump revealed that it was MADE IN MEXICO which has been the target of much Trump racist abuse.
“Zegan spent over six months crafting the 200lb fiberglass statue with the help of three men in Rosarito. He transported it to Tampa, Florida, where it was painted in chrome, then hauled it from there to CPAC.”

“Look Ahead American”
Btw, it’s for sale for $100,000. The wand is in reference to an Obama remark about Trump needing a “magic wand” to bring back US-based jobs. What, no #TrumpVirus reference?
Yes, the GOP is an irony-free party…
I did Nazi this coming….
Yesterday the hashtag #Nazi was trending alongside mentions of CPAC, where former President Trump is set to speak today.
This time it wasn’t Republican lawmakers who were compared to Nazis however, but rather the similarity of the stage to an ancient Norse symbol used by Nazis was called out by thousands of users on Twitter.
By Saturday afternoon there were over 100,000 tweets that compared the CPAC stage to the ODAL Rune, which was used by a unit of the insidious Waffen SS, later the 7th Volunteer Mountain Division. That unit was formed in 1941 and took part exclusively in action against the communist-led Yugoslavian partisans during WWII.
Many on Twitter shared images of the symbol along with photos of the CPAC stage.
See for yourself. Coincidence?
