Singer/ actress/ performance artist (and old pal) Ann Magnuson‘s new music video for I Met An Astronaut premieres RIGHT HERE on The Wow Report. 🚀 Magnuson explains,
“A lyrical ballad about my encounter with Dave Scott, the commanding astronaut who drove the moon buggy during the Apollo 15 mission. I met him on the set of the HBO series From The Earth to the Moon where I played the astronaut’s favorite nurse, Dee O’Hara in episode 3.
(HBO is currently streaming the series for the 50th anniversary of the Moonlanding.) Memories of 1969 float through the truly spectacular NASA footage that my dear friend and collaborator Adam Dugas found, valiantly digging through tons of full reels of the Apollo missions to assemble the piece.
We just finished it! I am sooooo excited!”
The song is from Ann’s 2006 album Pretty Songs, Ugly Stories which will be reissued digitally on Aug 16, 2019.
