The latest installment of the WOW Report’s monthly mixers was convened to celebrate former World of Wonder colleague and permanent wowlebrity, filmmaker Rodney Ascher, whose Room 237, the thoroughly exhaustive documentary on Stanley Kubrick’s movie The Shining was screened to much acclaim at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. The party at the legendary Boardner’s bar and nightclub in Hollywood (the tragic Black Dahlia is said to have had her last drink there before going off to be murdered) attracted our usual mix of celebs, artists, queens, bloggers, and staff, all eager to enjoy the music and open bar.
