We’re no longer doing business with FedEx!
In the days since the the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, a lot of change and momentum has been building. With Emma Gonzalez and her classmates leading the charge against the NRA and those that oppose sensible gun laws, it’s clear that the times are changing… for the better!
One of the movements born out of this tragedy is to Boycott any of the companies that do serious business and offer discounts to NRA members.
In the wake of this boycott, Delta, Enterprise, United and a bunch of other businesses have dropped their discounts for NRA members and we applaud those businesses and stand behind them for making this decision.
One company that has’t dropped their discount? FedEx.
According to this New York Times piece:
“FedEx offers N.R.A. members up to a 26 percent discount.”
It looks like they aren’t going to be changing that anytime soon. The company released a statement saying:
“[FedEx] has never set or changed rates for any of our millions of customers around the world in response to their politics, beliefs or positions on issues.”
Not good enough, FedEx. World of Wonder is proud to say that we will be Boycotting FedEx and will no longer be using them in our day-to-day shipping needs. We will be using UPS, DHL, and of course the good old United States Postal Service!
Co-CEO of World of Wonder, Randy Barbato said:
“We support the call to boycott the NRA by no longer using Fed Ex for our company’s shipping needs. We salute the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. We are inspired by their leadership and are committed to their safety!”
Hopefully more companies follow suit and continue to Boycott FedEx and any other company that offers discounted services to NRA members.
