Appearing on Australian Story is a sign that someone is making a major contribution to that country’s amazing culture, and Drag Race alum Courtney Act has just been profiled in an intimate half-hour interview.
Courtney made a splash competing on Australian Idol in 2003 before appearing in Season 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. She went on to win the UK’s 21st season of Celebrity Big Brother. Last year she was runner-up on Australia’s Dancing with the Stars.
What’s really inspiring about this profile done as both Courtney and Shane is the discussion about gender-fluid identity.
Last night I had the huge honour of having my Australian Story told. This show is such a respected institution in my country and it shares tales that foster empathy and understanding. You can watch it on @abctv iView and they even put it on YouTube for everyone overseas to watch too! There is a swipe up link in my story! #australianstory
Congrats, henny! We are very proud!
