Looks like my favorite barfly is getting a little help from her friends.
After initial reactions to the demos for Amy Winehouse’s much anticipated third album apparently fell a bit flat, it seems the forces are gathering to lend a hand.
Super-producer Mark Ronson is already on board (I’m sensing a brass section may be added). Not only that, music mogul and Beyonce’s bouncing buddy Jay-Z looks like he might pitch in too.
The Sun reports Jay-Z said: ‘Amy has a really powerful voice, it is so distinctive and
beautiful. Hopefully in the future we could get together and work on
some new material – I’d love to work with her again.’
Fingers crossed for good things. And everyone pray she doesn’t get them down the pub for a long lunch.
Join me in a toast with what’s reported to be Winehouse’s favourite cocktail… The Rickstacy. Sounds awful.
