Today we hit another sad milestone as we do every week; 155,000 Americans dead of #TrumpVirus…
Trump‘s top government experts now say that the pandemic is entering a new phase as it invades the rural heartland — and they can’t say how long it will last. The months are stretching into what looks like an endless crisis as Trump tweets
…and spends his weekends golfing.
Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus task force coordinator delivered a series of warnings on CNN‘s State of the Union, five months into the pandemic. Birx told CNN’s Dana Bash,
“What we are seeing today is different from March and April. It is extraordinarily widespread. It’s into the rural as equal urban areas.”
Former Federal Drug Administration Commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb said that there could be 300,000 coronavirus deaths by the end of the year. Birx said,
“Anything is possible. To everybody who lives in a rural area, you are not immune or protected from this virus.”
Birx said. Her comments came after her colleague, Dr. Anthony Fauci, told a House committee on Friday it was “unclear” how long the crisis will last.
The CDC says American should brace for an average of 1,000 deaths a day for the next 30 days.
The horrible statistics of the pandemic are relentless and the administration response appears –as it has from the beginning– ineffective, inadequate and insensitive.

Trump did lash out at Birx today on Twitter…
So Crazy Nancy Pelosi said horrible things about Dr. Deborah Birx, going after her because she was too positive on the very good job we are doing on combatting the China Virus, including Vaccines & Therapeutics. In order to counter Nancy, Deborah took the bait & hit us. Pathetic!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 3, 2020
