Yesterday, in the post about a restaurant chain in Lithuania trying to obtain the intellectual property rights to the scent of pizza, we ran a clip of John Wallowitch and mislabled him Ed Wallowitch, John’s brother. It’s since been corrected. Edward Wallowitch, the photographer, died in March of 1981 at the age of 48. The Philadelphian began taking photos when he was 11 and at 17 had three prints in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, the youngest photographer ever to be so honored, as you can imagine. In the 1950s, he met Andy Warhol and later became his lover. (Gallery)
