Last night I discovered what may be the most addictive website ever – Google Earth. The site has 3-D photos of every address in the country, taken from space. But it doesn’t just give you a photo. When you type in an address, it zooms in from a wide shot of the earth to a medium shot of your city to a close-up photo of the exact address! Or tell it you want to go from one address to the next – say, 6650 Hollywood Blvd to 143 1st Ave in NYC – and the software zooms out, takes you to space, and zooms into the next address. It’s really incredible.
Those of you on a Mac can’t use the software (boo hoo!). But if you have a PC, you’ve got to try this thing.
