Prospective new apartment towers in Mumbai, India, would feature swimming pools enclosed in glass instead of balconies. Known as Aquaria Grande, the 37-storey skyscrapers were the result of a collaboration between Hong Kong-based architect James Law and Indian real estate company Wadhwa Group. And while it looks pretty fabulous, my GOD, with the weight of the water on each balcony, and just a pane of glass between the swimmer and certain death, I don’t guys. I don’t think they’ve really thought this through. Imagine if there was an earthquake and you were swimming? Gahhhh, I’m going nightmares about this all night. (via Daily Mail)
