Trump said on Friday that his longtime personal assistant (his Oval Office “gatekeeper”) Madeleine Westerhout, was fired from the White House this week over her off-the-record remarks at a (drunken) dinner with reporters.
At the dinner, Westerhout reportedly said Trump doesn’t like being photographed with his youngest daughter because he thinks she is overweight.
(One assumes Trump has mirrors in the White House and Mar-a-Lago…)
On the White House lawn before departing for Camp David, Trump told reporters that had just gotten off the phone with Westerhout,
“She was very upset. She said she was down.”
Politico reported that Westerhout told Trump she’d been “drinking a little bit” when she talked to small group of journalists during an off-the-record dinner on Aug. 17. Westerhout, 28, reportedly also bragged that she had a better relationship with the president than either Tiffany and Ivanka.
Trump dismissed the claims about Tiffany saying,
“I love Tiffany.”
Maybe, Melania, not so much.
If looks could kill, FLOTUS might be on trial for murder…
