Love (and lust) is WINNING in Yanni Burton’s vid for new single Worth It– a song he wrote with Nate Campany (Dua Lipa, Carly Rae Jepsen, Adam Lambert, Christina Aguilera, and Tove Lo) about the intoxicating and sometimes overwhelming sensation of an exciting new passion. Directed by Tiger Darrow, the visual captures a late 70s European summer vibe, depicting the pop singer as a fledgling gay guy being seduced by an edgy bad boy. Watch the seemingly codependent duo party in their tidy whities, make-out in a pool, and basically do the nasty all over the place. Yanni Burton’s “Worth It” is out now on Apple Music, Spotify, and all digital platforms…and if you’re in NYC, check him out live tonight at Alan Cumming’s Club Cumming, 505 E. 6th St. (above pic by Courtney Charles)
Yanni Burton:
“The idea is that relationships can be one-sided and dangerously blind. The price can be high and you have to wonder, is it worth it? Where I certainly wouldn’t want to go to jail from a fling, I can see how allowing a guy to take control and lead me down a risky path I would never normally take, can be exciting. The experience of that energy, lust, and passion from being dangerously in love will last a lifetime and so yeah, maybe for me, it is worth it.”
