You probably recognize his work even if you don’t recognize his name. Ray Harryhausen pioneered stop-motion animation, creating the famous sword fighting skeletons in 1963’s Jason and the Argonauts, the dinosaurs in One Million BC (with Raquel Welch), as well as other big-monster classics like Mighty Joe Young, Earth Versus the Flying Saucers, The 7th Voyage of Sinbad and Clash of the Titans.
