Now THAT’S a lineup! Sasha Velour, Jiggly Caliente, Farrah Moan, Shea Coulee, Miss Fame, Hungry, and West Dakota were joined onstage last night by none other than Genie In a Bottle singer (I’m old) Christina Aguilera at the Opening Ceremony fashion show during New york Fashion Week. And – My GAWD –she looked ABSOLUTELY stunning, with those marvelously plummy purple lips, a wet bob, and sparkly pantsuit – VERY Fall/Winter 2018, don’t you know. She sang “Fall In Line” which is new? I don’t know, but you can listen to it in its entirety below.
The show was a collaboration that Sasha had been working on for some time with the uber-chic street brand, and featured over 40 LGBTQ models and performers.
In an interview with the outlet, Velour described the fashion show as “one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done.”
“It is literally a dream come true,” the performer said. “It’s a testament to what hard work and a very strong point of view of how things should be will lead to eventually.”
Indeed. Everybody in the room – including front row habitués Nicki Minaj, Troye Sivan, Hayley Kiyoko, and Kim Petras – were ABSOLUTELY bowled over by all the talent and glamooooooor on the stage. There was much hooting and hollering and generally just raising a ruckus, according to multiple news sources.
Fabulous, fabulous. Watch below.
