We know the Post Office is under assault by the Trump administration, so what better way to show your support – and stick it to Donnie – than to pick up these gag-worthy “Bugs Bunny In Drag” stamps?
They’re the first drag-themed stamps EVER issued by the US Post Office, so they’re definitely collectable. And fun!
It’s all part of the US Postal Service’s celebration of the 80th anniversary of America’s first drag superstar Bugs Bunny.
This issuance celebrates Bugs Bunny and the marvelous masquerades he has employed to foil his foes over the course of his 80-year career.
Included: His diva turn as an operatic Brunhilde in blonde braids and a winged helmet… and as a mermaid in a curly 1940s undo… See below….

Bugs has long been celebrated by many in the LGBTQ+ community as a genderfluid icon. In the cartoon, he often dressed up as a woman to trick Elmer Fudd and in a few instances, the two would get fully married and earnestly live their lives together. As a Reddit forum for transgender folk points out, “I don’t think a single character has ever been responsible for awakening both more trans people and more furries as kids than Bugs Bunny.”
