Another reason that print media is dying. In the latest issue of US Weekly, which hit the newsstands on Friday, they made the rather ill-timed choice to dedicate their “Back Page of Fashion Shame” to Michael Jackson. In picture after picture, they point out that he is a horribly dressed tranny train wreck. But here’s the thing: I actually like almost ALL of his fashion choices here, something I’ve been noticing A LOT lately. I’ve really begun to appreciate what a wonderfully eccentric fashion inspiration he is/was. I totally think this fall will be the year we all start dressing like the King of Pop again, in fabulously over-the-top glittery military-wear and women’s suit jackets. (I’m especially smitten with the gold-studded Givenchy ensemble. It’s just the speckled Balmain pants that have got to go.)
