The newly renovated, unrecognizable Ashlee Simpson has been given the option of starring as Roxy Hart in the stage revival of Chicago in either London or Chicago. She’ll probably choose London, where they’re used to hearing – and enjoying – caterwauling buskers outside the theater.

The Russian leg of Madonna‘s Confessions tour was scheduled to play several dates at Lomonosov Moscow State University, which encompasses 600 buildings, but security concerns have prompted officials to move the shows to an airfield. Moscow’s security chief said, “More than 250,000 tickets have already been sold for her shows and there are fears that students will fall from the windows trying to watch.”
