1962’s Wild Guitar is a campy drive-in movie that exposes the seamy underside of Hollywood’s music industry in the ’60s. Sort of. It stars Arch Hall Jr as a naive young rock ‘n’ roller who falls into the clutches of a scheming manager. The movie is clumsily directed by Junior’s father, Arch Hall Sr. This final musical number would seem to be an early clue to the music videos of the future.
