In a kind of stew of popular programming, combining hip-hop, cooking, and celebrities doing things they’re not familiar with, 21st-century renaissance man Diddy is cooking up a five-night reality show for NBC called Celebrity Cooking Showdown. The miniseries will involve superstar chefs and celebrities in a weeklong cook-off. Already, Wolfgang Puck, Food Network’s Cat Cora, and New York’s Table 8 chef Govind Armstrong have signed on. Diddy, who owns two restaurant chains, said the show is “not out of my space.”
