Seems our old friend, artist Albert Crudo, is causing a stir even greater than when he dressed Michael Musto in diapers back in the ’80s. Crudo’s $25,000 full-frontal nude portrait of Donald Trump (painted from memory?), entitled The Fondald: My Tower Is Bigger Than Your Tower, is currently hanging at Bliss, a vegetarian restaurant on Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg. Some diners are dismayed that they have to look at it over their tofu blintzes. “Women are more offended by it than men,” says the eatery’s manager, Linda Nylander. According to Page Six, one customer asked the local community board to demand its removal. Which seems a typical reaction from a vegetarian, probably a vegan. “Donald shouldn’t be offended,” says Crudo. “I made him beautiful. He’s buff and his hair looks good.” And the Fondald, er, Donald? “It couldn’t be me because I have a much better body,” he says, with not so much irony as you might think.
