Lesson for the day:
Do NOT keep a Queen waiting!
At Windsor Castle today, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth was seen checking her watch before the Trumps’ arrival. The couple arrived around noon eastern time (15 minutes late) in the courtyard of Windsor, where the Queen received them in special a tent, CBS News reports.
Liz smiled as she shook hands with the two idiots and after the Queen took Trump to inspect the guards on the quadrangle. They then went inside for tea. Walking around the grounds, Trump continually walked ahead of the Queen which is a BIG no-no. (It’s called protocol, whether you agree or not.)
Twitter, of course, lit up with tsk-tsking over making the monarch wait.
On top of this, a massive “Trump baby” balloon was flown over Parliament Square, a decision that was approved by Trump nemesis, London’s mayor Sadiq Khan.
Queen Elizabeth II is there. But where is the guest? Yeah, still in his helicopter, leaving the 92-year-old monarch to wait, and wait. pic.twitter.com/JBsrXAyunj
