Rudy Giuliani, the personal attorney of Trump, has tested positive for COVID.
Trump just announced on Twitter that Rudy had,
“…tested positive for the China Virus. Get better soon Rudy, we will carry on!!!”
#TrumpVirus
Giuliani has not announced his diagnosis. He has been traveling the country, leading Trump’s hopeless battle to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
He was mostly recently in Atlanta to attend a Georgia state Senate hearing on the November election.
The 76-year-old former mayor of New York is considered at high risk for complications from the coronavirus due to his age. (That, and the fact that he is rarely seen wearing a mask in public.)
Last month, Giuliani’s son, Andrew, who is a White House staffer, tested positive for Covid-19 after attending a Trump campaign legal team news conference with his father in DC.
Giuliani is the latest person in the President’s orbit to contract the virus. Many, MANY close to Trump and in the White House have tested positive in recent months.
…something like 3 dozen, not including Secret Service.
.@RudyGiuliani, by far the greatest mayor in the history of NYC, and who has been working tirelessly exposing the most corrupt election (by far!) in the history of the USA, has tested positive for the China Virus. Get better soon Rudy, we will carry on!!!
