You are a New Yorker, against all odds you are elected President of the United States and you arrive home to a building with your name on it (to a city which overwhelming voted for your opponent) for the first time since being inaugurated and you are met with chants of,
“NEW YORK HATES YOU!”
Ouch. That’s gotta sting.
But that’s what happened last night as thousands lined the streets around Trump Tower to give BLOTUS a real New York City welcome. I know the rest of the country hates him too, as does the world but New York knows how to hit you where it hurts and we sucker punched him last night. The most powerful AND the most hated man in the world sat in his gold apartment, on top of piles of money, watching FoxNews, while the streets echoed with
