Kelsey Grammer defended Trump on yesterday in a PBS interview with Christiane Amanpour.
There to promote his London revival of Man of La Mancha, (you couldn’t PAY ME to sit through it) Grammer said his views haven’t actually impacted his career much.
“I’m not aware of taking a hit for (it) but now, certainly passions run high, and certainly he [trump] has touched on an extraordinarily passionate response.”
Amanpour asked him,
“I was wondering whether you thought… many people believe this sort of fabric is being disrupted.”
Grammer replied,
“Well, I think fabric being disrupted is a good thing. I don’t think Washington did us any favors for the last 50, 60 years, I think they’ve all been sort of the same party, the same bunch of clowns, the same bunch of really unpleasant people. And I don’t think they’ve been helping anybody but themselves.”
Asked about whether America can come together again amid political strife, Grammer said the country,
“will be just fine. We’ve been through a lot worse.”
In the clip below, Grammar says right off,
“Ben Carson is a great guy I wish he could be President. He’s just fantastic.”
WTF!? Well, for the record, I never thought Frasier was funny.
Watch.
