NBC Out shared this image of Trixie on their Instagram that caused a semi-panic…
The Instagram is sharing portraits of influential LGBTQ people for Pride and they posted a photo of Trixie Mattel with her date of birth, that got everybody wondering if the skinny legend had passed.
Trixie posted a TikTok video referring to scores of responses to the post,
So, I am not dead.
In the comments, everybody’s like,
‘Are you dead?’
I’m not dead. I’m not dead.
Pride Month has not killed me yet, but still could happen!”

Lmao we love that dead bitch.”
Queer Eye star Bobby Berk posted his
heart just dropped thinking she was dead.”
Pete Buttigieg‘s hubby Chasten also commented,
I did not need this kind of anxiety today. Out here making me think she’s dead. And during Pride? In this economy?!”
NBC Out addressed the feedback in a message saying,
Point taken! The format will change TOMORROW.
Apologies for causing mass community anxiety.”
