I’m the alien, the singer, the queen…the strangest thing you’ve ever seen!

I went to art school in Brazil. I studied painting and I used to do what I (pretentiously) called photo-performance to draw attention to my ACTUAL artwork on canvas – until I started noticing people taking more interest in the paint I put on MY FACE, rather than on the canvas (I still don’t understand why I got so much attention for it to be honest).

I’m inspired by so many things and people, but some of my major influences include: Anna-Varney Cantodea, Peter Steele, Klaus Nomi, Maila Nurmi, RuPaul, Nergal, etc.

I have been singing in heavy metal bands since my teenage years (so many moons ago), but I had never combined drag and singing until about 3 years ago. I performed a tribute for the band Ghost B.C. and I was fairly successful, probably. A little after that, I dropped out of art school and decided to pursue the American dream, said goodbye to my family and friends (and a female girlfriend, believe it or not), and jumped on a plane and never looked back (only maybe a few times… okay, more than a few times… okay it’s every day. It’s every day guys!).

So far in my American journey I have found a lovely fiancee, some clients (I’m a photographer – HIRE ME!), a handful of friends, and an AMAZING band called “V”- in which I sing in full female alien-witch mode with 3 other weirdos in costumes. We do WICKED HEAVY heavy heavy metal magick. Our first music video called Escape (below) is about to come out!
