“I’ve been working in theatre all my life, but I started specifically working in drag after finding authentically fulfilling creative opportunities in my chosen fields, as a queer person, to be scarce. I started going out in looks for fun, ended up taking some guest spots and doing local competitions…and things grew on their own from there. In a way, a lot of my successes feel like they happened by accident. It often feels like drag chose to do me more than I chose to do drag.I’ve always been inspired by avant-garde performance, my hometown’s DIY and underground interdisciplinary art scene, and high fashion. I’m currently fascinated by reshaping inexpensive garments, minimalism, color blocking, and trolling audiences with shamelessly nostalgic song choices for my lip syncs. In Seattle, I produce and perform at Rapture at the Timbre Room every second Saturday, as well as at Fresh once every three months at 18th & Union. I’m also a resident DJ monthly at Tush at Clock-Out Lounge, as well as at C.U.L.T. at the Palace Theater & Art Bar. Feel free to stop by if you’re ever in town!”
