Awww. How sweet is this? Bodybuilder/model/trans icon and activist Aydian Dowling and his wife Jenilee have introduced the world to their new baby son Antler Joseph Dowling who was born November 1, weighing 8lbs 12oz. What a little cutie!

The antler has long been tied to the annual death and resurrection of the sun. The antlered stag represents wisdom, nobility, protection, and the cycle of death and rebirth.
Since Jenilee and I have been together we have been reborn many times. We together have been through death, great change, disappointment, happiness, and now birth. The deer shown to us reminds us to trust that no matter how dark things can get, the sun will always come back to shine.

Jenilee went into labor on Halloween night- 🎃

Things went amazing at the Midwifery Center but after many long hours and some things not going as planned we had to transfer to the Hospital to keep Jenilee and baby safe. 🏥
•
Please know that Jenilee is healthy, the baby is healthy- and we are just resting up after 2 days of no sleep, and 19 hours of active labor leading to a natural birth.

Lots of feelings, emotions, and events leaving us very grateful for the health of Jenilee and our new baby 🙏🏼
