Trace Lysette went from femme queen realness in New York’s ball culture to appearing with JLo in Hustlers, and now she’s branching out into music with her debut song “SMB,” serving MILF realness over a beat by Tero Golden and Big Rula.
SMB stands for Self-Made Bitch, and Trace is definitely that! Via Out:
Fans are absolutely loving the track, and Lysette feels the love. “It feels so damn good, you know? The love has been nonstop today,” she says. “I think people know ‘Trace the Actress’ and not actually Trace, so music is even more vulnerable to me in that way. It feels good though. The love is real.”
But Mutha Trace wasn’t content just giving us the track, she also filmed a music video for the song. In the video, we see Trace dancing outdoors in a tight bodysuit and on an LA city sidewalk in short short shorts and a crop top that reads “Femme Queen” — this is ballroom’s term for trans women and Lysette is an icon in the scene. But the real highlight is when she starts serving MILF realness in a sheer pink robe with feather accents over a bikini while she lounges around her house with a glass of champagne and a fruit by the foot. Later she brings out a baby bottle as she raps about being a mother.
You can show mama a little love over on her Instagram:
