With their A Bigger Bang road show, the Rolling Stones have set a new record for highest-grossing tour in history, earning a whopping $437 million. We like to think that WOW’s Jason Bryan is responsible for much of that number, since he went to every show of theirs in California. By comparison, Madonna’s Confessions spectacular seemed to limp, breathless, to second place with only $195 million, though that figure’s notable for being the most money taken in by a female on a single tour. In descending order, the other top tours were: Bon Jovi, U2, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Cirque du Soleil’s Delirium, Barbra Streisand, Kenny Chesney, Dave Matthews Band, and Aerosmith. (Source)
