If you love yourself and have great taste than you’re watching “Stranger Things” on Netflix. It’s like The Secret Life of Alex Mac meets E.T. meets Poltergeist meets The Exorcist and I LOVED it. If you devoured all eight episodes in a 95 degree summer fever dream in it’s entirety like me, than you’ll enjoy this. IF you haven’t started watching, please X out of this window, turn off all your social media, order a pizza from Lucifer’s and bask in the glow of your AC-controlled apartment and binge watch the shit out of this amazing new series.
With no further adou (SPOILERS AHEAD), check out my top 5 favorite characters:
If you’re queer, you most likely will identify with Barb. Probably because you can see yourself in her and that as soon as the demons of high school are over, she would live a cultured, fulfilling, stylish life away from her small suburban town.
There’s been several articles written about how she became fan favorites and there’s even a mural of her in Brooklyn:
Poor, poor Barb.
Although I adored all the E.T.-eque children in Stranger Things, Lucas was definitely my favorite. He truly had so much charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent and I’m excited to see where his character goes in Season 2.
3) STEVE HARRINGTON
You know the catch phrase, “Came to hate, wound up dancing?” Well, that’s exactly how Harrington comes off. You hate him at first because he’s basically the textbook definition of “douche bag,” but then he pulls some serious John Cusack moves and you totally fall in love with him.
2) CHEIF HOPPER
He is a flawed, but real character that comes to Winona’s defense as they team up against the creepy Poltergeist/woods/Alex Mac situation that is happening in their community and he winds up being so likable.
Obviously, Winona takes all the cake. Give her all the Emmy’s, Golden Globes, accolades. All of them!
