Perky Joyce DeWitt, one-third of the wacky trio from the garishly lighted, vaguely risqué ’70s-’80s sitcom Three’s Company, ignored a barricade intended to prevent traffic from driving into a park in El Segundo, California, on Saturday, the Fourth of July, and was pulled over by a cop. “As the officer spoke with DeWitt,” said an El Segundo police sergeant, “he observed signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication.” DeWitt subsequently failed a field sobriety test and was taken to the station and booked on DUI. Did that really happen, or are we just remembering a particularly zany episode? (E!Online)
