The policy announced yesterday by Loews Cineplex Entertainment Corp that it will begin next month to announce the actual, bona fide, real start times of its films (after the commercials, promo shorts, and trailers) is not a good one. It’s bad enough now that stupid, inconsiderate people mosey in as the titles are playing, casting shadows of their stupid late heads on the screen, spilling nachos in your lap as they stumble for seats in the dark. These people need that false start time, that extra 15 minutes, to settle in and finish their meals before the movie starts. We don’t mind waiting.
