It’s started as a nearly 6000 square feet “house” built in a cave in the Arkansas Ozarks.
Actually, it started as a fallout shelter it was turned into residence. The cave itself is MUCH bigger and goes back over a mile into the mountain.
It’s now an overnight lodging business. Great. Just where you want to stay during a pandemic. In a claustrophobic cave.
According to their website,
It is built in a natural cavern, high within a bluff overlooking the valley, Beckham Creek Cave Lodge is unlike any other place on earth Uniquely designed, Urban Revival themed. This luxurious and comfortable 4BR 4BA 5800 s.f. home is located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas on 256 private acres…”

If you’re going to have an underground cave hotel, GO FOR IT! You want a tacky cave suite? Try the over-the-top-of-the-top Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, California.
