Marking the movie’s 74th anniversary today, Flavorwire has posted “50 Things You Didn’t Know About the Wizard of Oz,” a motley list of curious facts, most concerning the damaging effects of the caustic makeup. But more curious to us is fact #10 that says one of the Munchkins committed suicide by hanging himself on set, and the body can actually be seen swinging from the scenery at one point in the movie. And there’s this rather laborious video that’s said to prove it.
