The Vivienne has made TV herStory on Dancing on Ice.
Another drag first – the first drag queen to perform on the UK show.
Viv made a proper entrance coming out of the ceiling on a lighted “VIV” sign, skating as Cher to Strong Enough, with pro partner Colin Grafton, the duo scored a decent 28.5 out of 40.
Judge Oti Mabuse praised The Vivienne’s performance,
If you are going to make history, this is how you make history -congratulations!’
(After all these years, how do they still not get it? It’s ConDRAGulations!)
Anyway, a savvy viewer wrote of Viv on Twitter,
What an absolute superstar.”

On week four, The Vivienne & Colin dazzled the crowd with a skate to Dolly Parton‘s classic Jolene, but Viv made sure viewers knew she wasn’t attempting to impersonate Dolly by donning a red wig.
About the herstory making appearance, The Vivienne said,
To be the first drag artist to take part in one of the big UK reality competition shows is an honor and a big step forward for queer representation on TV.“
As they say, ConDRAGulations, Viv!
Watch.
