May God strike me down for reveling in these pictures – I’m a GHOUL, I know – but TMZ is really outdoing themselves in their Whitney coverage. Yesterday they posted this picture of THE DEATH TUB “taken MOMENTS after Whitney’s body had been removed from it.” They point out a submerged gravy dish sitting at the bottom, which strikes me as a bit odd. A gravy dish? In the bath tub? Who brings a gravy dish with them in the bath (besides Paula Dean)? That’s weirder than the plate of jalapeño peppers she had next to her. I mean, have you ever eaten jalapeño peppers in the bath tub? I would no more eat jalapeños in the bath than I would eat kittens in the shower. It’s just weird. But back to the gravy boat. TMZ explains that she “typically filled the gravy dish with olive oil to keep her skin soft.” Well, that explains that then. Moving on: “Notice the two circular objects,” they point out next. “They’re hair ties. And there’s a towel at the bottom of the tub – possibly worn by Whitney to keep her hair dry while she was bathing.” So now everything is explained. Except how TMZ got these pictures. I mean: Who lets TMZ onto the death scene? Are the police on the take? Trying to make some pocket cash? Looking at this just brings up more questions than it answers.
