Oh. My. Gellar! Can you believe it’s been TWENTY years since Buffy Summers (Sarah Michelle Gellar) forever graced us with her badass vampire slaying skills on Buffy the Vampire Slayer on the WB?! From 1997-2003, Gellar played the iconic lead role and got together with the ENTIRE cast (minus Xander) and creator Joss Whedon for Entertainment Weekly for the ultimate reunion. There, they took sickening photos and discussed what the show meant to them. Gellar stated: “It’s the ultimate metaphor: horrors of adolescence manifesting through these actual monsters. It’s the hardest time of life.”

“The most important thing to me is that I have had people come up to me and say the show made me feel different about what they could be, about what they could do, about how they respond to problems, about being a female leader,” says Whedon. “People getting strength from my own little terrors is… There is no better legacy than that.”
