Ted Cruz tried to slam Joe Biden in what he thought was a clever tweet, but it blew up in his face like a cheap novelty cigar.
Newly inaugurated President Joe Biden in his first day in office rejoined the Paris Climate Agreement, which is a multinational pact on climate change. (Trump had opted US out.)
Cruz used a line of FORMER President Trump’s (God, I love that!) He tweeted,
“By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh. This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans.”
Just a slight problem with Cruz’s snarky message.
Um, the deal is NOT about protecting the citizens of Paris. It’s named the Paris Climate Agreement because it was adopted IN Paris, the city where the meeting was held. DUMBASS!
Plus, Cruz attempted to invalidate Pittsburgh’s votes in his effort at a coup to keep Trump in power, so there’s that…

Twitter users pointed this all this out to Cruz. But Seth Rogen summed it up with the least amount of verbiage, as Cruz seems to understand only the simplest of messages,
“Fuck off you fascist.”
Actually, now that I think about it, maybe it needs a Merriam Webster link to the word “fascism” for Ted.
By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh. This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans.
