Kim Kardashian announced today that that her fashion brand Skims will serve as Team USA’s official provider of undergarments and pajamas for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, as well as for the Paralympics.
“When I received the call inviting Skims to be a part of @TeamUSA, every moment I’ve spent admiring the strength and energy of the Olympians from the sidelines came full circle,” the 40-year-old superstar tweeted.
The designs will include bralettes, boxer briefs, tank tops, briefs, T-shirts, socks, leggings and more, all emblazoned with the United States flag, Team USA and the Olympic rings.
A new Skims ad campaign features soccer star Alex Morgan, basketball player A’ja Wilson, Paralympian Scout Bassett, swimmer Haley Anderson and track & field athlete Dalilah Muhammad.
ALSO: Kardashian announced that fans will be able to purchase the pieces as part of a special capsule collection on Skims’ website. Because of course. Wouldn’t want to let that opportunity slide by without milking it. That’s just good business sense.
(Ralph Lauren, you might recall, was the last designer to outfit Olympians, in 2012).
