Although we were caught up yesterday celebrating the fabulous Emmy nominations for our shows RuPaul’s Drag Race and Million Dollar Listing, it’s also definitely worth celebrating the fact that the Goddesses Taraji P. Henson and Viola Davis have made history. They are both nominated in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series—Viola Davis for her incredible role as Annalise Keating on How to Get Away With Murder and Taraji P. Henson as the fierce Cookie Lyon on Empire. This marks the first time that two women of color are nominated in this category.
