POINT FOUNDATION LOGO

All month long we’re gently directing your attention to organizations that could benefit from your donations. Up today, the Point Foundation.

The Point Foundation supplies financial support, professional guidance, and a network of contacts for LGBTQ students in need to attain their higher education degrees.

From their mission statement:

“Point Foundation empowers promising lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender, and queer students to achieve their full academic and leadership potential – despite the obstacles often put before them – to make a significant impact on society.

“Point also attempts to identify students who have exceptional financial needs that would require personal assistance for personal success. Point believes that these individuals would benefit from a support system that facilitates their preparation for the future to help ensure a lifetime of effectual leadership and exceptional productivity.

“By identifying and supporting these scholars, Point hopes to provide a greater level of acceptance, respect and tolerance within future generations for all persons, regardless of sexual orientation, gender expression or gender identity.”

That sounds amazing. Find out the different ways you can help here.

“With your support, Point Foundation provides its scholars with the financial ability to attend the nation’s foremost institutions of higher education. Recipients of Point Foundation Scholarships are committed to developing their leadership skills while helping the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community. Help Point Scholars make a significant impact on society by making donation today.”
