Dynamic duo Sofi Tukker, Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern, just put out their new track Fuck They, and it’s a BANGER!!! The electro kiddies, who initially met at an art gallery, are now firmly teamed-up in NYC, making mega strides in the dance music world…a sort of new direction for them. Their first behemoth single, Drinkee (2016)- inspired by the poem Relógio by Brazilian poet Chacal, and sung in Portuguese, garnered them a Grammy nomination. Now, they’re going a bit more camp, with the help of co-writers Jake Shears (Scissor Sisters) and Jon Hume (Evermore), serving up an empowering, New York-style, no EFFS giving anthem about doing your own thing. “They is anything that holds you back from being who you are”, says Sofi Tukker. “Whoever ‘they’ is in your life or in your mind, Fuck They!
