My mole on the Da Vinci Express, the rechristened TGV that will speed from London to Cannes, tells me that the whole exterior of the train has been repainted with The Da Vinci Code logo and, inside, all the headrests, tables, and walls carry the logo as well. Having been vetted by high security, said mole had to wear overshoes so as not to dirty the new carpets. None of the crew are allowed to bring any luggage; it’s all being shipped separately. There are four different setups for the interviews that will take place in front of 12 cameras. A five-camera outside broadcast will record the train leaving Waterloo tomorrow morning, and on-board edit suites will compile news packages ready to satelite out the moment the train reaches Cannes.
