Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have split after four years of marriage, Us Weekly confirms.

“This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”

The country music power couple met in 2005 at CMT’s 100 Greatest Duets Concert, when Shelton was still married to his first wife, Kaynette Gern. They divorced in 2006 and Shelton started his relationship with Lambert, 31, soon after. They married in May 2011 in Texas. (Photo, Getty; via Us Weekly)
