For those of you still trying to scrape the top coat of paint off La Gioconda, trying to make sense of this senseless hoohah over The Da Vinci Code, which is a MOVIE, people, get a grip, we have an update from Fenton via his mole at the source.
Gleaned a few crumbs from my mole on the Da Vinci Code Express. At departure Sir Ian McKellen made a speech that they were all part of history in the making. Might have seemed a bit grandiose were it not technically true; this was the longest non-stop international train journey ever. [Ed note: We’re holding our breath for nine minutes or until we get positive proof of that.] Other than the heartstopping moment when the train slowed down, everything went very smoothly and everyone was super-excited and well-behaved. Which makes for rather bland blogging (but there was a special menu of branded food: Vincissoise, pie a la Code, etc, and the water of choice was Fiji).
