Co-anchor of Weekend Update host Colin Jost almost lost it last night…
Jost told a joke about former president Trump’s indictment, but he got very faint laughter.
Michael Che then made another joke about the ex-president that got big laughs. When Jost told another joke and an audience member yelled out,
You stink!”
Jost’s head fell into his hands in frustration. As a prank, Che had told the audience not to laugh at Jost’s jokes. Jost wondered aloud,
Am I not mic’d? And then I was like,
‘Oh I just suck.’”
When Che went on to the next news item Jost said,
God, you’re evil. That’s the meanest thing you’ve ever done to me.
I’m covered in sweat.”
